IntelliJ IDEA wins InfoWorld's 2011 Technology of the Year Award as the Best Java IDE.
"IntelliJ IDEA is the only paid product in a field of free or open source options, but it continues to earn followers due to its remarkably intuitive interface and groundbreaking features."
IntelliJ IDEA has won the Jolt Productivity Award #1 in the Development Environments category.
Said Mike Riley, a judge at Jolt Awards: "...IntelliJ is unquestionably one of the smartest choices a Java developer can make to be as productive and prepared for the broadest range of work as possible."
ReSharper earned the Visual Studio Magazine Readers Choice Award 2010 in the General Development Tools category.
According to Visual Studio Magazine, "The General Development Tools category is the most prestigious and competitive category in the VSM Readers Choice Awards, and for the second straight year, JetBrains ReSharper is the top vote-getter."
Additionally, JetBrains earned recognition with two Merit awards including:
- Performance Proling & Debugging Tools: dotTrace
- Collaboration, Project Management & Agile Solutions: TeamCity
In addition to its Readers Choice trophy, ReSharper has been recognized as the Most Valuable Developer Tool by Visual Studio Magazine panelists, grabbing the Editors Choice Award 2010.
"For the second year, JetBrains ReSharper earned top honors as the Most Valuable Developer Tool, dominating both reader and panelist polling. Panelist and VSM Tools Editor Peter Vogel perhaps said it best: "I think I could write code without ReSharper, but I'm not sure anymore."
JetBrains broke into the Top 10 in 2009-2010 ComponentSource Bestselling Publisher Awards, courtesy of high worldwide sales for ReSharper, IntelliJ IDEA, and dotTrace.
Once again ReSharper made it to the Top 25 in ComponentSource Bestselling Products, topping at No. 16 in the 2009-2010 rankings. Two more JetBrains products made it into the Top 100: IntelliJ IDEA and dotTrace.
In 2009, ReSharper has finally conquered the Visual Studio Magazine Readers Choice Awards, topping the Development Tools category.
According to Visual Studio Magazine, "JetBrains ReSharper 4.5 stands out in one of the most hotly contested categories in the 2009 VSM Readers Choice Awards: the Development Tools category, with 80 total products eligible... Readers praised ReSharper, with many singling it out as their most valuable tool. "It's extremely proficient at helping me stick to standards and drawing my attention to potential code flaws," writes one respondent."
JetBrains' success in Visual Studio Magazine Readers Choice Awards in 2009 was backed with the Editors Choice award, distinguishing ReSharper as the Most Valuable Tool.
Visual Studio Magazine says, "We asked readers and panelists alike to single out the one product in our entire survey that stood out as the most valuable, effective and compelling tool for developers. More readers chose JetBrains ReSharper 4.5 than any other product. "It knows about C# syntax, best practices, does static code analysis, has great navigation and naming help," writes one voter. "We won't develop without it."
It was all about .NET tools for JetBrains at Jolt Productivity Awards 2009: ReSharper won a Productivity Award as a Development Environment while dotTrace got what it was due in the Utilities category.
ReSharper made it to the Top 25 in ComponentSource Bestselling Products for 2008. IntelliJ IDEA was featured in the list as well, finishing in the Top 50.
JetBrains as a publisher finished at No. 18 in ComponentSource Bestselling Publisher list in 2008, earning a ComponentSource Top 25 Publisher Award.
Jolt Productivity Awards 2008:
JetBrains products repeated their previous year's success with another bunch of JOLT productivity awards.
This time, IntelliJ IDEA was honored in the Development Environments category, and TeamCity came out strong to gain Productivity Awards in two categories: Collaboration Tools and Project Management Tools.
JetBrains ReSharper has been honored with a Readers' Merit Award from Visual Studio Magazine in the Development Tools category.
IntelliJ IDEA 7.0 has won the 2008 SD Times 100. Judged by the editors of SD Times, the SD Times 100 recognizes the top innovators and leaders in multiple software development industry areas.
Jolt Productivity Awards 2007:
IntelliJ IDEA received awards for being a productive Development Environment and a Web Development Tool.
TeamCity, a build management and continuous integration tool for facilitating teamwork, has picked up recognition and a Productivity Award in the Collaboration Tool Category.
JetBrains and IntelliJ IDEA were honored by the readers of the German publication Javamagazin, receiving one of the publication's 2006 Readers Choice awards.
