Following his Neurobiology PhD, Christophe Jollivet turned to IT to transform his hobby in day work. After being the co-leader of the French Java Portal developpez.com, he founded the Tours Java User Group on the borders of the Loire.

As a day job, he works for a consultant company, mainly on health insurance applications with EJB and JSF. He also teaches at the university.

But he prefers communities and technical discussions even more if it is around a good beer. He likes to present at various events and helped to set up some of the French JUGs. He also wrote some technical articles and has a blog.

When not hacking, he spends time with his wife and two children or doing sports.
