This section describes simple steps required to access the project settings:

To open the project settings
  1. Do one of the following:
    • Press Ctrl+Alt+SCtrl+Alt+SCtrl+Alt+SCtrl+Alt+SCtrl+Alt+SCtrl+Alt+SAlt+F7Ctrl+Alt+SCtrl+Alt+SMeta CommaMeta CommaMeta Comma.
    • On the main toolbar, click settings.
    • On the main menu, choose:
      • File | Settings for Windows and Linux.
      • IntelliJ IDEA | Preferences for Mac OS.
    • 11.1+Press Ctrl+Shift+ACtrl+Shift+ACtrl+Shift+ACtrl+Shift+ACtrl+Shift+ACtrl+Shift+ACtrl+Shift+ACtrl+ICtrl+Shift+AMeta Shift AMeta Shift AMeta 3, type settings and press EnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnter.
  2. In the Settings dialog box that opens, select the desired page below the Project Settings section.
To quickly find an option or setting
  1. Open the project settings.
  2. In the Search field, start typing the name of the setting or a part of its name. As you type, the first matching node in the list is highlighted and the corresponding page is displayed.
