This section describes simple steps required to access the project settings.

To access the project settings
  1. Do one of the following:
    • Press Ctrl+Alt+SCommand Comma.
    • On the main toolbar, click settings.
    • On the main menu, choose:
      • File | Settings for Windows and Linux.
      • IntelliJ IDEA | Preferences for Mac OS.
    • 11.1+Press Ctrl+Shift+ACommand Shift A, type settings and press EnterEnter.
  2. In the Settings dialog box that opens, select the desired page below the Project Settings section.
To quickly find an option or setting
  1. Open project settings.
  2. In the Search field, start typing the name of the setting or a part of its name. As you type, the first matching node in the list is highlighted and the corresponding page is displayed.
