Assembly Descriptor References - Resource Environment References pane

The dialog box opens when you click the Add button add and select EJB Resource Environment Reference in the context menu.

Use this dialog box to specify the properties of the <resource-env-ref>> element.

ItemProperty generated in web.xmlDescription
Name <resource-env-ref-name> In this field, specify the name of the resource environment reference. The name must contain the EJB reference name used in the code of the Web application.
Type <resource-env-ref-type> In this field, specify the fully qualified name of the Java language class or interface that implements the type of the resource environment reference.
browseButton Click this button to open the Choose Class dialog box.
Description <description> In this field, provide a description of the reference.
