IntelliJ IDEA suggests several ways to create new project. You can create a project from scratch, or create a project around an existing source code. If you already have models, produced with one of the popular IDEs, you can import them to IntelliJ IDEA.

To create a new project, follow these general steps
  1. On the main menu, choose File | New Project, or click New Project button in the Welcome screen. The New Project Wizard opens.
  2. Select the way you are going to create a project. The possible options are:
