Enabling the Struts 2 framework support for developing Web applications in IntelliJ IDEA involves:

To configure a struts 2 module and download the required libraries, do one of the following:
  • Create a new module with the dedicated Web and Struts 2 facets. IntelliJ IDEA will download and add the necessary libraries and configure the project automatically.
  • Add the dedicated facets to an existing module.

    Note

    A Struts 2 facet can be created only as a child of a Web facet. Make sure a Web facet is already attached to the module.
