Use this dialog to configure your preferences on instant messaging via IDEtalk.
|Show message tool window||If this option is checked, the IDEtalk Messages tool window opens, when an incoming message arrives.|
|Show pop-up window||When this option is checked, a pop-up window appears in the lower-right part of
main window, when a new message from your contact arrives.
If this option is checked, you will be switched to IntelliJ IDEA and notified about the incoming message even if you work with a different application.
|Activate IntelliJ IDEA window||If this option is selected, IntelliJ IDEA icon in the task bar starts flashing on incoming message arrival, if you work in a different application.|
|Play sound||If this option is checked, you are notified about an incoming message by sound.|
|Hide offline users||If this option is not checked, the contact list shows all users regardless of their status. If this option is checked, only online users are visible.|
|Hide my files from viewing by anyone||If this option is checked, no one from the contact list can view the files you are currently working on.|
|Use Enter key to send messages||If this option is checked, pressing EnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnterEnter sends a message instead of Ctrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCtrl+EnterCommand EnterCommand EnterCommand Enter.|
|Set away status after n minutes of inactivity||Type or select the number of minutes after the icon reflecting your status changes to away.|
|Set not available status after n minutes of inactivity||Type or select the number of minutes after the icon reflecting your status changes to not available|
|Clear All Messages History||When you communicate with your contacts via IDEtalk, the message history appears in a dedicated tab. With the next IntelliJ IDEA session, the IDEtalk Messages window is empty, but the history is preserved in the folder USER_HOME\.IntelliJIdeaXX\system\ideTalk\history. Click this button if you want to remove the history of all conversations.|
