Assembly Descriptor References


In this pane, define the <message-destination-ref> element that specifies the name of a logical message destination defined within a Web application.

Based on the settings you specify, IntelliJ IDEA generates the properties of the <message-destination-ref> element in the web.xml descriptor.

Message Destination References <message-destination-ref-name> In this field, specify the name of the logical message destination defined within the Web application.
iconEditReference Click this button to open the Edit Message Destination Reference dialog box.

Note

The button is available only in a selected row.

Type <message-destination-type> Use this drop-down list to select the expected Java type of the message destination reference.
Description <description> In this field, provide a description of the message destination reference.
Usage <message-destination-usage> Use this drop-down list to specify how the Web application will process messages. The available options are:
  • Consumes
  • ConsumesProduces
  • Produces
Link <message-destination-link> In this field, specify the name of the message destination.
