When processing annotations is enabled, a dedicated annotation processing command appears in the Build menu, and on the context menu of a class with annotations in the editor and in the Project tool window.

To process annotations, follow these general steps
  1. Make sure that the class with annotations you are working with belongs to a profile with enabled annotation processing.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the class in question in the Project tool window, or open it in the editor, and choose Process <class name.java> Annotations on the context menu.
    • On the main menu, choose Build | Process <class name.java> Annotations
    • Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F9Meta Alt Shift F9Meta Alt Shift F9Meta Alt Shift F9.
