- In the inspection settings, select the profile to be changed. Note that the default profiles are editable.
- Enable or disable the desired inspections.
- To apply an inspection to a restricted set of files, associate it with the corresponding scopes.
Note
By default, an enabled inspection applies to all the sources of the current project.
- To configure the level of alerts, specify the inspection severity using the Severity drop-down list.
- Change the other options, which can be different for the various inspections. Note that the Options section is only enabled for enabled inspections.
- Apply changes.
The modified inspections are shown blue in the list of inspections.
- In the Inspections page, click Add.
- In the dialog box that opens, type the name of the new profile.
- Apply changes. The new profile is created as the copy of the Default profile.
- In the inspection settings, select the base profile from the list of profiles:

- Click Copy.
- In the dialog box that opens, type the name of the new profile.
- Apply changes. The new profile is created as the copy of the currently selected profile.
- In the inspection settings, select the profile to be deleted from the list of profiles.
- Click Delete.
- Apply changes.
- In the inspection settings, click Import.
- In the Select Path dialog box, locate the desired xml file, and click OK.
- Apply changes.
- In the inspection settings, click Export.
- In the Select Path dialog box, locate the desired directory, where xml file of the current inspection profile will be stored, and click OK.
- Apply changes.
