When you work with performance profiling results, you don't normally investigate the behavior of a single function. In fact, you are usually studying the behaviour of different sets of functions and how they interact. dotTrace Performance is able to highlight (format) function calls, so you can focus on functions that you are interested in and somehow separate functions of no interest.
