Since ReSharper 7.0 you can switch between color themes and icons sets. ReSharper provides several icon sets to match the color themes of Visual Studio 2012 and previous versions of Visual Studio as well. You can either configure settings so that the appropriate icons sets are applied automatically and accordingly to the color theme of the Visual Studio or you can choose one particular set for all themes.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- The Options dialog box opens. Click Environment, them click General on the right pane of the dialog box.
- On the left pane use the Color theme drop-down list to switch between light and dark themes.
- Click OK to apply changes.
- On the main menu, choose ReSharper | Options.
- The Options dialog box opens. Click Environment, them click General on the right pane of the dialog box.

On the General pane of the dialog box, specify a set of icons to be used
clicking one of the following items:
- Automatic selection
- Color
- Gray
- Dark Gray
- Click Save or Save To to apply changes.
- On the main menu, choose ReSharper | Options.
- The Options dialog box opens. Click Environment, them click General on the right pane of the dialog box.

On the General pane of the dialog box, specify a set of icons to be used
clicking one of the following items:
- Automatic selection
- Color
- Metro-Style Gray
- Metro-Style Dark Gray
- Visual Studio Legacy
- IntelliJ IDEA
- Click Save or Save To to apply changes.
Note
If the Automatic selection item is chosen, ReSharper applies an icon set according to
the current color theme of Visual Studio.
