A while after you have installed ReSharper, it might invoke a balloon in the system tray to invite you to join the ReSharper Feedback Program in order to help ReSharper developers improve the product based on anonymous usage statistics.
When you click the balloon, the ReSharper Feedback prompt appears, letting you make a decision whether to participate or not.
The ReSharper Feedback page in the ReSharper Options therefore serves two purposes:
- It sets forward comprehensive conditions of participation in the program.
- It provides the Participate anonymously in ReSharper Feedback program check box to either join the program or resign at any time.
ReSharper's settings are saved in settings layers that enable you to have different settings for different solutions as well as to share your settings with your team. To learn more, study the Managing and Sharing Options section.
