ReSharper 3.1 and higher allows obtaining license tickets through the new web-based release of
, a central site designed to distribute permissions granted by product license keys in an enterprise environment.
To get a license ticket from the License Server
- Choose ReSharper | Help | License Information. The ReSharper License Information dialog box appears:
- Click Obtain from License server.
- Optionally (if UNC support is restricted in your network environment), select Specify URL, and enter the IP address or host name of your company's License Server in the corresponding text field (ask your administrator to provide the address if required). Otherwise, leave the Detect automatically check box selected.
- Click OK.
Provided that the server was successfully found, ReSharper obtains a license ticket required to use the product according to your license conditions.
If required, you can specify credentials locally instead of connecting to the License Server.
