RubyMine 5.4.0 Web Help

The Gem Manager is available in the local and remote modes.

To access the gem manager
  1. Open Project Settings dialog box.
  2. Click Ruby SDK and Gems to open the corresponding page. This page shows the locally installed gems
  3. To gain access to the remote repositories, click Install Gems or Update Gems.
    To update the locally installed gems, click Update Gems

    The Gem Manager opens in the Install gems or Update gems dialog box.
