RubyMine 5.4.0 Web Help

RubyMine helps look for the gems that reside in the remote repositories. So doing, you can select the desired repository, or look for gems in all available repositories. For each gem, you can view its details (version, URL, and description).

To browse through the gems repositories
  1. Open the gem manager dialog box.
  2. Specify the repository you want to look through. To do that, click Manage gem repositories button. In the Edit Gem Repositories URLs dialog box that opens, type the URL of the desired repository in the URL field, and then click Add.
    Click OK to close the dialog box.
  3. In the gem manager, click Refresh.

  4. Select the desired gems in the list to view details (version in the Version column, URL in the Gem root field, brief description).
