- Open the CVS Roots dialog box.
- Click the Add button
on the toolbar. - Specify the CVS root string.
- Specify the version to work with.
- Specify additional connection settings.
- Click the Test connection button to check that the specified settings ensure establishing successful connection to the CVS server.
- Click OK to apply the specified settings and close the dialog box.
- Open the CVS Roots dialog box.
- Select the CVS root to modify.
- Edit the settings as while configuring a new CVS root.

Changes made here apply to the current CVS root configuration only.
- Open the CVS Roots dialog box.
- Select the CVS root to be used as the basis for a new configuration.
- Click the Copy button
on the toolbar or press Ctrl+OCtrl+OCtrl+OCtrl+OCtrl+OCtrl+Shift+OCtrl+OCtrl+OCtrl+OMeta OMeta OMeta OControl Shift O.
The selected configuration is copied as a new CVS root.
- Edit the newly created CVS root configuration, as required.
- Open the CVS Roots dialog box.
- Select the CVS root you want to remove and click the Remove button
on the toolbar.
