RubyMine enables you to create directories recursively, thus producing a whole directory structure.

Directories are marked with the folder icon folder.

To create a new directory
  1. In the Project tool window, select the destination directory node.
  2. On the context menu of the selection, choose New | Directory, or press Alt+InsertAlt+InsertAlt+InsertAlt+InsertAlt+InsertCtrl+N or Alt+InsertAlt+InsertAlt+InsertCtrl+N or Ctrl+EnterControl N or Control EnterControl N or Control EnterMeta N or Control EnterControl N or Control Enter to invoke the context menu.
  3. In the New Directory dialog box that opens specify the directory name. You can also specify nested directories; in this case, use slashes as the delimiters. Click OK. RubyMine creates the new directory or directory structure.
