New licenses
All non-free software licenses entitle you to perpetual use and include 12 months of free product upgrades. Beyond this initial 12 month period, you may renew your subscription for upgrades for a further 12 months at our discounted renewal prices. Renewing subscription is entirely optional.
Subscription for software updates
TeamCity is always evolving via frequent and significant updates. If you're after new features, ever-improving usability and the latest innovations, subscription for TeamCity software updates ensures that you continue to receive all the latest software updates for another 12 months.
Upgrading to version 5.1 from the previous versions
Free 1-year subscriptions for updates, with upgrade to TeamCity 5.1
Any TeamCity 4.5 license purchased after October 1, 2009, is eligible for receiving a 1-year upgrade subscription free of charge. However, such upgrade subscriptions is back-dated to the actual v4.5 license purchase date.
After you receive a new license key by e-mail, this key will be valid for TeamCity 5.1 and all subsequent versions released within the year since the license purchase date.
Paid subscriptions for software updates, with upgrade to TeamCity 5.1
For any TeamCity license purchased before October 1, 2009, you will need to purchase a subscription for software updates to be able to start using it with TeamCity v5.1. The subscription period for such licenses will start on the actual date of the subscription purchase.
Non-commercial open source
Non-commercial open source software development projects that meet the Open Source definition may apply for getting a free Open Source License, which entitles them to use TeamCity Enterprise Edition for an initial period of one year. Annual renewals are provided upon request.
