Licensing & Upgrade

By default, each TeamCity installation runs under Professional Server license. This license is provided for free with any downloaded TeamCity binary, and does not require any license key. Learn more about Professional Server license.

If you need to use more than 20 build configurations, or require additional Build Agents, please consider following purchasing options:

Open Source License

Open Source licenses are available free to non-commercial open source software development projects that meet the Open Source definition, have a dedicated website, and an active community.

An Open Source License entitles you to use TeamCity server without any limitations, including unlimited number of connected Build Agents. Open Source license is valid for one year. Annual renewals are provided on request, subject to JetBrains' approval.
