> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://www.jetbrains.com/help/air/llms.txt).

Air Governance is the organization layer of JetBrains Air. It is designed for team leads, engineering managers, and CTOs who need to configure and monitor access, cost, and usage policies for agent-driven software development. Air Governance propagates across all supported tools, agents, teams, users, and service accounts in your organization.

[JetBrains Console](https://console.jetbrains.cloud/) is the web interface for performing all configuration related to Air Governance. You can log in with your JetBrains Account if you are a member of an organization in JetBrains Air.

> **Note:**
> Most management and configuration tasks in JetBrains Console require a role with enough permissions in the organization. For more information, see [Roles](roles.html).

Air Governance enables you to perform the following:

* Define the [users](users.html) and [service accounts](service-accounts.html) that should have access to AI-powered tools and features, [group](groups.html) them per team, project, or area of responsibility, and assign [roles](roles.html) withing Air Governance.

* Enable and limit [AI access](ai-access.html) for the whole organization and granularly for each member.

* Control costs by [purchasing AI credits](buy-ai-credits.html) and setting [spending limits](ai-credit-limits.html).

* Monitor AI-related analytics, such as [the scale of adoption](ai-adoption-and-usage.html) and [the impact it has](ai-activity-and-impact.html) among other things.

* Enforce the set of allowed [MCP servers](air-gov-mcp-servers.html), [agents](ai-agents.html), and [LLMs](ai-providers.html), including through separate [policies](ai-policies.html) for different groups of developers.

* Connect your organization's [hosted version control system](hosted-vcs.html) to make the repositories available for AI-powered workflows through JetBrains Air.

> **Note:**
> The exact set of features in Air Governance depends on the selected [plan](plans-and-pricing.html).
