# Supported agents

> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://www.jetbrains.com/help/air/llms.txt).

You select an agent and a model per task. The lineup is the same wherever you work:

* [Anthropic (Claude Agent)](https://claude.ai/)

* [OpenAI (OpenAI Codex)](https://openai.com/codex)

* [Google (Gemini CLI)](https://gemini.google.com/)

* [JetBrains (Junie)](https://www.jetbrains.com/junie/)

What differs is the account behind the agent. In Air Teams there is one: JetBrains AI. The Air app can also run an agent on a provider account of your own, and it can run agents that aren't on this list at all.

## Agents in Air Teams

Cloud tasks and [automation](automations.html) runs always use the JetBrains AI provider, whatever agent you pick, and spend [JetBrains AI credits](ai-credits.html) from your subscription. A provider account of your own doesn't apply here, so there's nothing to connect and no API key to bring.

The agents you can pick are the ones your organization administrator enabled in Air Governance. That list can be smaller than the one above, and the same setting controls whether you can run cloud tasks at all – see [Manage AI access for your organization](set-up-air-teams.html#setup-org-ai-access).

Agents added through `acp.json` are not available in Air Teams: they run on your machine, so there is nothing for a cloud environment to start.

## Agents in the Air app

A local task can run on JetBrains AI like a cloud task, or on an account you connect yourself. Your own account can be a subscription you already pay for, such as Claude Pro, Max, or Team, or an API billing account that you connect with your own key (BYOK).

| Agents | Supported accounts |
| --- | --- |
| Claude Agent | To use Claude Agent, connect your Anthropic Console account with API billing. The Air app uses your Anthropic API key to authenticate requests, including requests from Docker environments. |
| OpenAI Codex | Two types of OpenAI accounts are supported: * ChatGPT account (Plus, Pro, or Team), which uses your existing ChatGPT subscription. * OpenAI Platform account, which uses API billing. |
| Gemini CLI | The following types of Google Gemini accounts are supported: * Google Account (Personal or Workspace) * Google AI Studio (API Billing) |
| Junie | You can add Junie by logging in to your JetBrains account. |
| Your own agent | You can add any ACP-compatible agent installed on your machine. These agents use their own subscriptions, and a Claude Free, Pro, or Max subscription doesn't work with them. See [Add your own agent](select-agents-and-models.html#add-acp-agent). |
