Server Certificates

With CLion, it is possible to accept and save any certificate that was considered non-trusted by the default security policies, including the case, when the system trust store in JRE is missing at all.

CLion provides its own storage for trusted certificates. Use this page to manage the list of trusted certificates.

Accept non-trusted certificates automaticallySelect this option if you want non-trusted certificates (i.e. the certificates that are not added to the list) to be accepted automatically, without sending a request to the server.
addAlt+InsertAdd a trusted server certificate to the list. Click this button to open Choose Certificate dialog box, and locate the desired certificate file.

The certificate file should have an extension .crt, .cer or .*pem.

For a trusted certificate, the certificate information is shown in the lower part of the page.

deleteAlt+DeleteDelete the selected trusted certificate from the list.
