Adding Exception Breakpoints Accessing Breakpoint Properties

Adding Symbolic Breakpoint

To create a symbolic breakpoint:

  1. On the main menu, choose Run | View Breakpoints or press Ctrl+Shift+F8.
  2. In the Breakpoints dialog box that opens, click /help/img/idea/2017.1/new.png.
  3. Select Symbolic Breakpoints from the drop-down list
    /help/img/idea/2017.1/cl_createSymbolicBreakpoint.png
    .
  4. Configure the new symbolic breakpoint as described in the Configuring Breakpoints topic.
