Navigate To Metadata View
Control+Shift+G | Metadata View
This command allows you to navigate to signatures of types and methods reconstructed from metadata of library symbols. Metadata View is shown in the code viewer as a partly reconstructed source file, in read-only mode. All relevant dotPeek's navigation commands are available in the this view.
The command becomes available when you invoke Navigate To on a library symbol in your source code and on decompiled sources. You can invoke this command from the Assembly Explorer, from the File Structure window and other tool windows.
If the target symbol has XML documentation comments, they are included in the metadata view. If you do not want to include the comments, clear the Show XML documentation in decompiled sources checkbox on the page of dotPeek options.
This feature is inspired by and borrowed from JetBrains ReSharper, a developer productivity tool for Microsoft Visual Studio.
