dotMemory 2016.1 Help

Auto-Deleting Workspaces

You can automate the cleanup of your workspace files using the auto-deletion feature. dotMemory will automatically delete workspace files that were not opened* a certain amount of days. If you want to prevent a workspace from auto-deletion, you can pin it in the list of workspaces.

To enable workspace auto-deletion:

  1. On Home page, choose the Preferences tab.
  2. In the Save Workspaces section, in Auto-delete workspaces that were not opened in last [ ] days, specify how many days workspaces must not be opened to qualify for auto-deletion.
  3. Click Save Changes.

To prevent a particular workspace from auto-deletion:

  1. On the Home page, on the left panel, choose Recent | Workspaces.
  2. In the list of workspaces, click the ThemedIcon.Unpin.Screen.[Gray] pin button against the workspace you want to prevent from auto-deletion. You can "unpin" the workspace back at any time.
