Install EduTools Plugin

Choose your IDE

EduTools plugin is compatible with IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, Android Studio, CLion and GoLand.

This installation guide describes everything you need to know to install the EduTools plugin in IntelliJ IDEAPyCharmWebStorm Android StudioCLionGoLand. If you are using a different supported IDE, switch to it by using the Section drop-down menu at the top of the page:

If you don't have IntelliJ IDEA installed, download IntelliJ IDEA Edu instead.

If you don't have PyCharm installed, download PyCharm Edu instead.

Before you start, make sure Android Studio is installed.

Before you start, make sure WebStorm is installed.

Before you start, make sure CLion is installed.

Before you start, make sure GoLand is installed.

To install the EduTools plugin

  1. In the Settings/Preferences dialog Ctrl+Alt+S, select Plugins.

  2. In the Plugins dialog, switch to the Marketplace tab.

  3. In the dialog that opens, search for EduTools.

  4. Click Install.

  5. Click OK in the Settings dialog to apply the changes, and restart IntelliJ IDEAPyCharmWebStormAndroid StudioCLion if prompted.

To update an installed EduTools plugin

  1. In the Settings/Preferences dialog Ctrl+Alt+S, select Plugins.

  2. In the Plugins dialog, switch to the Updates tab.

  3. Check if the EduTools plugin requires an update.

  4. Click Update.

  5. Click OK in the Settings dialog to apply the changes, and restart IntelliJ IDEAPyCharmAndroid StudioCLion if prompted.

To uninstall the EduTools plugin

  1. In the Settings/Preferences dialog Ctrl+Alt+S, select Plugins.

  2. On the Installed tab, search for EduTools.

  3. Right-click the EduTools plugin and select Uninstall.

  4. Click OK in the Settings dialog to apply the changes, and restart IntelliJ IDEAPyCharmAndroid StudioCLion if prompted.
