Using the configurable 'assert' or 'check' calls helps avoiding warnings on the good code.

Configuring IsNull/IsNotNull conditions
  1. Expand the Probable bugs node of the Inspections page, and in the inspection Constant conditions and exceptions click Configure Assert/Check Methods button:

  2. In the Assert/Check Method Configuration dialog box, fill in configuration elements, using add button. Specify the classes and methods which perform the check and the method parameter that is the subject of the check.

  3. Apply changes and close the Settings dialog.
  4. Inspect source code.
