With IntelliJ IDEA, it is possible to accept and save any certificate that was considered untrusted by the default security policies, including the case, when the system trust store in JRE is missing at all.

IntelliJ IDEA provides its own storage for the trusted certificates. Use this page to manage the list of trusted certificates.

Item Shortcut Description
add or or or or Add a trusted server certificate to the list. Click this button to open Choose Certificate dialog box, and locate the desired certificate file.

The certificate file should have an extension .crt, .cer or .*pem.

For a trusted certificate, the certificate information is shown in the lower part of the page.

delete Delete the selected trusted certificate from the list.
