Configuring Local Ruby Interpreter

This feature is supported in the Ultimate edition only.

To configure a local Ruby interpreter, follow these steps:

  1. Open Project Structure dialog.
  2. In the Project Structure dialog, click the node Modules.
  3. In the Gems tab, click /help/img/idea/2016.3/new.png, and from the popup menu, choose New local...:
    /help/img/idea/2016.3/ij_add_local_ruby_interpreter.png
  4. In the Select Ruby Interpreter Path dialog box, click the desired Ruby executable.
