# Kafka

Support for monitoring [Kafka](https://kafka.apache.org/) event streaming processes is not bundled with IntelliJ IDEA. You can install the [Kafka](https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/21704-kafka) plugin from JetBrains Marketplace as described in [Plugins](managing-plugins.html).
