Run SQL script files

  1. Right-click the necessary data source.
  2. Select Run SQL Script.
  3. In the Select Path window, navigate to the file that you want to apply.
  4. Click OK.

Run an SQL file for several data sources

  1. Open an SQL file in AppCode.
  2. Right-click the opened SQL file.
  3. Click Run <file_name> (or press ⌃⇧R).
  4. In the Execution target window, select the necessary data sources.
  5. Click OK.

Run individual statements

You can run individual statements only for one data source at a time.

  1. Open an SQL file in AppCode.
  2. Click the statement that you want to execute. If you want to execute more than one statement, select (highlight) the necessary statements.
  3. Press ⌘⏎ or select Execute from the context menu. Alternatively, press ⌥⏎ or click intentionBulb, and select Run query in console.
  4. Select the database console where you want to execute the statement. You can see the name of the associated console in the right part of the toolbar.
