Connecting to database
Enable the Database tools and SQL plugin
This functionality relies on the Database tools and SQL plugin, which is bundled and enabled in AppCode by default. If the relevant features aren't available, make sure that you didn't disable the plugin.
Press Ctrl+Alt+S to open the IDE settings and select .
Open the Installed tab, find the Database tools and SQL plugin, and select the checkbox next to the plugin name.
To issue a query to a database, you must create a data source connection. Data source is the location of your data and can be a server or a DDL file. The data source includes a name and connection settings that are dependent on the data source type.
Select a data source that you want to create:
