Code Inspection: Unreachable statement

Reports the statements that cannot be reached.

In the following example, the echo statement is preceded by the return statement. As a result, it cannot be reached and is never executed.

            function sendMessage($message) {
                return $message;
                echo $message;
            }
        

Place the caret at the highlighted line and press Alt+Enter or click .
Click the arrow next to the inspection you want to suppress and select the necessary suppress action.
