ReSharper | Options | Code Editing | CSS | Formatting Style | Spaces

This page is used to configure automatic insertion of spaces in certain positions of source code. You can adjust the values and check the preview pane in the bottom of the page to see how your preferences affect the code.

The options that you configure on this page apply in the following cases:

• When you produce new code by typing or by using ReSharper's code completion features.
• When you produce new code by applying ReSharper's code templates.
• When new code is produces with the ReSharper's code generation features or refactorings.
• When you reformat existing code.

To configure auto-formatting of new code, use the Auto-format on semicolon and Auto-format on closing brace options on the Environment | Editor | Editor Behavior page of ReSharper options.
