Monitoring and diagnostic tools

• Enable Visual Studio Diagnostic Tools – enables/disables the Visual Studio Diagnostic Tools. When used together with Monitoring, Diagnostic Tools may significantly increase resource usage.

• Enable ReSharper Monitoring – enables/disables the Monitoring feature.

Monitoring mode

• On debug or run – monitoring starts automatically when you run or debug your project.

• On debug – monitoring starts automatically only when you debug your project.

Tool window behavior

• Auto-open on process start – the tool window opens automatically when a monitored process starts, i.e., when you run or debug your project.

Data providers

ETW CPU sampling – data provider for background profiling. If disabled, the background profiling and issue detection features are not available.
