Monitoring mode

• On debug or run – monitoring starts automatically when you run or debug your project.

• On debug – monitoring starts automatically only when you debug your project.

• Never – monitoring is disabled.

Tool window behavior

• Auto-open on process start – the tool window opens automatically when a monitored process starts, i.e., when you run or debug your project.

• Limit the size of collected performance data – stop collecting monitoring data when it reaches the limit (~4-6 GB).

Data providers

ETW CPU sampling – data provider for background profiling. If disabled, the background profiling and issue detection features are not available.
