Accessing Gem Manager
The Gem Manager is available in the local and remote modes.
- In the local mode, the Gem Manager shows the gems installed together with the Ruby SDK used in project, and the gems attached to the project.
- In the remote mode, the Gem Manager shows the gems stored in the remote repositories.
To access the gem manager
- Open Settings dialog.
- Click Ruby SDK and Gems to open the corresponding page. This page shows the locally installed gems for each project.
- If there is more than one project opened in the same window, select the desired project.

To gain access to the remote repositories, click (Alt+Insert) or
(F5).
To update the locally installed gems, click (F5)The Gem Manager opens in the Install gems or Update gems dialog box.
