Configuring notifications rules and notifier settings

You can define different Basic Concepts for the different Basic Concepts.

To add or edit notification settings, follow these general steps:

In My Settings And Tools page, select the desired notifier section.
Click Add new rule link to create a new rule, or select a Edit link to change an existing one. The corresponding notifier settings page opens.
For email and Jabber notifiers, specify the address for receiving notifications.
When notification is configured so that no notifications can be sent (e.g. there's a rule for email notification but no email address), you'll see a warning. Correct this by typing your email or Jabber address on the notifier settings page or right on the My Settings page, press Save button, and the warning will disappear.
In the table Watched build configurations, click Edit link to specify the builds you want to monitor and events you want to be notified about. Edit Rule section opens on the same page.
In the Edit Rule section, specify the builds you want to monitor. To do that, click one of the radio buttons: - Watch builds with my changes - Watch builds from selected build configurations. In this case, select the desired TeamCity project from the Project drop-down list, and one of its build configurations.
In the Send notification when section, select notification conditions.
Click Save to apply changes. After you've saved a new rule, it is displayed in the Watched builds and configurations table. Click the "edit" or "delete" link to modify a rule or get rid of it.
