Using Command Line Tools

Introduction

WebStorm supports running commands of Zend Framework Tool, Symfony, and other third-party and custom tools. WebStorm provides completion and parameter info via an XML descriptor. Although WebStorm provides a dedicated tool window or console for running commands, it is strongly recommended that you use the built-in local Terminal instead.

Before you start working with Command Line tools, make sure that the Command Line Tool support plugin is downloaded and enabled, as described in Installing, Updating and Uninstalling Plugins.
