In case when you prefer JDK other than bundled with IntelliJ IDEA, you can choose between the latter and another kit, installed on your system.
Switching the ide boot jdk
To switch the IDE boot JDK, do the following:- On the main menu, choose or press Ctrl+Shift+A.
- In the list of actions that appears, find Switch IDE boot JDK action and select
it. Simplify your search by typing the first letters:
- In the dialog that opens, select the desired JDK:
- Click OK to apply changes.
