Suppose you have selected a file or member in one of the tool windows, and would like to quickly find it in the Project view. The Select Target pop-up menu moves the focus to the selected component of IntelliJ IDEA, the file system, etc.

- On the main menu select Navigate and click Select In,
or press Alt+F1.
The Select Target pop-up menu shows up.
- Use the arrow keys or the mouse pointer to select the desired component.
If your target is the Project tool window, you can select
the desired view: Project, Scratches etc.
Double-click selected file or member in one of the tool windows, or press Enter to open it in the editor.
