If you have a plugin file available on your computer, you can install it like this:
A plugin file is an archive file: a ZIP or a JAR. You don't need to decompress it prior to installation. You should use it as is.
- Open the Settings / Preferences dialog (e.g. ⌘,⌘,⌘,⌥F7⌃⌥S).
- In the left-hand pane, select Plugins.
- In the right-hand part, on the Plugins page, click Install plugin from disk.
- In the dialog that opens, select the plugin archive file, and click OK.
- In the Settings / Preferences dialog, click Apply or OK.
- If suggested, restart IntelliJ IDEA.
