This feature is supported in Ultimate edition only.

The following is only valid when Ruby Plugin is installed and enabled!

To configure a local ruby interpreter, follow these steps:
  1. Open Project Structure dialog.
  2. In the Project Structure dialog, click the node Modules.
  3. In the Gems tab, click ../../Shared/new.png, and from the popup menu, choose New local...:

    ../../Shared/ij_add_local_ruby_interpreter.png

  4. In the Select Ruby Interpreter Path dialog box, click the desired Ruby executable.
