Suppose you have selected a file or member in one of the tool windows, and would like to quickly locate it in another IDE component. The Select Target pop-up menu helps you move the focus to the selected component of IntelliJ IDEA, the file system, etc.

On the main menu select Navigate and click
Select In,
or press
Alt+F1.
The Select Target pop-up menu shows up.

Use the arrow keys or the mouse pointer to select the desired component. If your target is the
Project tool window
, you can select the desired view:
You can also double-click selected file or member in one of the tool windows or press Enter to open it in the editor.
