Open source is running the modern world. It is the unsung hero that powers many of the websites, services, and software products we use every day.

JetBrains has been a part of the global open-source community for years, from contributing to hundreds of open-source projects and releasing our own products as open-source, to supporting thousands of other contributors with complimentary licenses for our commercial tools.

This October, we are partnering with Hacktoberfest, a month-long celebration of open-source software, and we’d like to invite you to be a part of this exciting open-source journey.

As a Platinum Sponsor of Hacktoberfest, JetBrains is pleased to provide you with access to the JetBrains Toolbox, which includes all our IDEs and .NET tools for all the various languages. Here is how it works:

Upon registration, you will get a coupon for a one-month new All Products Pack subscription from us that you can use for contributing and developing during Hacktoberfest.

If you complete Hacktoberfest (you’ve submitted four or more valid pull requests on GitHub, see the full rules), we will send you a coupon code covering 3 months of your new All Products Pack subscription at the end of the Hacktoberfest event. When that expires, you will also get 20% off an annual subscription.

If you already have a personal license for a JetBrains tool, the same coupon code you get upon the Hacktoberfest completion will add 3 months to your existing subscription (any JetBrains IDE, .NET tool, or the All Products Pack).

Please note: The coupons can be applied to personal licenses only. Each participant can use a Hacktoberfest coupon only once. A coupon cannot be combined with any other offers and it is not transferable.

What is Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software organized by DigitalOcean. Hacktoberfest is open to everyone in our global community! Four quality pull requests must be submitted to public GitHub repositories. You can sign up anytime between October 1 and October 31.
