The Python Software Foundation (PSF) is the principal organization behind the Python programming language. As a non-profit organization, the PSF depends on sponsorships and donations for their revenue that supports sprints, meetups, community events, Python documentation, fiscal sponsorships, software development, and community projects. We can’t do any of this without your support.
The Python Software Foundation and JetBrains have partnered before, conducting two consecutive Python Developer Surveys. In addition to that, this year JetBrains PyCharm is giving a boost to the Python Software Foundation’s first fundraiser of the year. During a three-week campaign, buy PyCharm Professional Edition with a 30% discount code and all money you pay will go to the PSF’s general fund for 2019.
Contribute to the PSF and get a great IDE at the same time. Purchase an individual annual subscription to PyCharm Professional with a 30% discount before July 1. It’s very simple:
Again, all proceeds from this promotion will go to the PSF fundraising campaign 2019 – not just the profits, but the entire sales amount. The campaign will help the PSF maintain a healthy state and continue to support its community and different outreach and diversity programs.
The PSF is grateful to have JetBrains as a collaborator on several projects. JetBrains has worked with us to conduct the Python Developers Surveys since 2017. We’re are excited to continue working together by raising money through this program so we can better support the Python community. Together we hope to make this a yearly event! On behalf of the community, I would like to extend our deepest thanks for their generous help.

The success of Python is invaluable for us as well as for the whole Python community. This promotion gives us an opportunity to give back to the community by sharing a significant portion of our revenue for the community needs.
