ReSharper extends Visual Studio with over 2200 on-the-fly code inspections for C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript and other technologies. For most inspections, ReSharper provides quick-fixes (light bulbs) to improve code in one way or another.

60+ refactorings and 450+ context actions help safely organize code and move it around the solution, distribute responsibility, decouple, decrease complexity, or simply use alternative language syntax.
ReSharper helps instantly land at any code in a solution, no matter how large it is. It can also navigate you from any symbol to related code such as implementations of a given interface, extension methods of a class, or usages of a field.
Configure and apply code style based on your personal preferences or your team standard. Code style and formatting settings for C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript and other languages can be applied in any scope, from a selection to a solution.

ReSharper Ultimate is a license that combines individual JetBrains .NET tools, as well as ReSharper C++.
Each ReSharper Ultimate license allows a single developer to use ReSharper, ReSharper C++, dotCover, dotTrace and dotMemory.
Every release, we make a lot of performance improvements and bug-fixes to limit ReSharper’s impact on Visual Studio, increase responsiveness, and eliminate UI freezes.
For the 2018.2 release, we made about 30 performance fixes across different parts of ReSharper, from speeding up EditorConfig support to decreasing solution loading times.
This release comes with the ReSpeller extension to provide spell-checking functionality out of the box. Just like with code analysis, ReSpeller scans for spelling mistakes and typos in identifiers, comments, string literals, and more, and provides quick-fixes to resolve each detected problem. By default, ReSpeller is enabled for many of the languages ReSharper supports.
We can invoke the Alt+Enter menu where ReSpeller gives us several options to fix the mistake. In the menu, we can either fix the typo or add a new word to ReSpeller’s dictionary.
ReSharper now supports all features from the latest C# 7.3:
Ref assignments.Unmanaged, System.Delegate, and System.Enum constraints.Stackalloc array initializers.fixed statement.fixed buffers.65 of the top 100 companies in the Forbes 500 list use .NET developer tools by JetBrains.
I love ReSharper! Its code suggestions routinely help me write better C#/VB.NET code.
All I can say is I love it. If you don't use ReSharper, drop what you are doing and go out and buy it!
ReSharper is an awesome tool. If you're using it you probably agree and if you aren't you should be. The productivity gains are incredible.
The ultimate Agile tool is ReSharper. Refactoring is just so darn easy that change isn't scary.
