Item Description

Enable navigation to external sources

Select this check box to enable navigation to external sources and display the corresponding controls.

External sources data providers

This section contains the list of external data providers.

Move Up

Click this button to move the selected provider up.

Move Down

Click this button to move the selected provider down.

Object browser

Select this check box to enable navigation to Object Browser

Metadata viewer

Select this check box to enable navigation to Metadata View.

Sources from symbol files

Select this check box to enable navigation directly to the external source files.

Metadata viewer

In this tab you can define a common look for Metadata View.

Language

Select the language for Metadata View:

  • C#
  • VB.NET

 Note

Available in ReSharper 5 Full Edition.

Show non-public type members

Select this check box to include non-public members in Metadata View.

Show XML documentation comments

Select this check box to include XML comments in Metadata View.

Reorder members as specified in code style settings

Select this check box to apply member reordering to Metadata View according to formatting settings and member layout.

Sources from symbol files

In this tab you can customize options concerning symbols and/or sources.

Enable downloading

Select this check box to enable downloading.

Advanced

  • Add - click this button to create a new folder substitution.
  • Edit - click this button to edit selected substitution.
  • Remove - click this button to remove selected folder substitution.
  • Show current path settings and pdb files binding - click this button to show technical details on current external sources configuration.
