ReSharper Web Help

A solution is not limited to sources included in your projects, but also contains references to libraries that are used in your solution. It is very convenient to have access and opportunity to navigate to source code of those libraries as if they were a part of your solution.

The first time you navigate to code symbol that is not a part of your solution, ReSharper offers you to choose how you would like to access external sources by default. You can navigate to: Object Browser, Metadata View or downloaded library code directly.

 Tip

Use controls in the External Sources tab in the ReSharper Options dialog box to change the destination order for code navigation within Visual Studio. See External Sources for details.

There are two ways to navigate. You can use navigation commands that are available in the Navigate To context menu:
Navigating to External Sources
Alternatively, you can explicitly specify where to navigate to:
Navigating to External Sources

 Note

Navigation to Object Browser is always available.
