Inspectopedia 2024.3 Help

Celery task class or function is not registered

Reports an unregistered task in Celery Beat Schedule

Example:

#settings.py CELERY_BEAT_SCHEDULE = { 'task_name': { 'task': 'example_app.tasks.task_name', # path to a task represented by a class or function 'schedule': 3.0, }, } #example_app/tasks.py @app.task() def taskName(): pass class TaskName(Task): pass

If a task class doesn't Task in inheritance or task function doesn't have the necessary decorators, it wouldn't be considered as registered
